Biography
Michael Campbell returned to Morehead, Kentucky in 1989 to begin his law practice. He is the founding partner of Campbell and Rogers. Michael started up his new practice aggressively litigating cases. The majority of his practice was and remains criminal defense. Michael has tried hundreds of cases before juries and the bench, including personal injury and criminal trials. His criminal defense experience and knowledge is unmatched in this region. He has tried to a jury everything from misdemeanors in District Court to murder cases in Circuit Court. He has tried cases to juries in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He leaves no stone unturned in preparing for trial. When you need someone to fight for you, whether you have been injured due to the negligence of another, or you are charged with a crime, Michael is who you need.
Outside of the practice of law, Michael and his wife Sheila spend their time in the outdoors. Michael is an avid hiker. Michael has hiked all over Kentucky and the United States. In 2012 he hiked the Appalachian Trail from start to finish over a period of six months.
